*Let’s workshop this poem about why humans--no less than lice, leukemia, lions or whatever else harms our kids--are expressions of base reality and therefore cannot be called bad in any ultimate sense.

What If Spinoza Had Leukemia?

No matter how moralists might speak (most duped by their own noble tale), no human

can ever be a bad “houseguest” of the World-All— unless we are prepared to label “bad”

modes of it hitherto immune: lice at the very least, if not the microskirts sparking rape.
