Quikrete (ROUND 2)

scent of the day: Nose Rest Day

*Let’s workshop this poem that highlights a potential drawback of adoption processes dragged out over months and months of blue-ball-inducing bureaucratic red tape (now only worse with no-homo Trump).

Quikrete

The adoptive gays, one-upmanship revving waiting-list edging into trichotillomania,

tag team a fatality (“Finish Him!” skinned in synonym), colonic torsion neither dad—

whirler, impaler—meant to bloody the kiddo creampie: “Fuck yeah! Spin that lil prick!”

“We need books that affect us like a disaster, that grieve us deeply, like the death of someone we loved more than ourselves, like being banished into forests far from everyone, like a suicide. A book must be the axe for the frozen sea within us.”—Kafka (against the safe-space cancel culture pushed by anti-art bullies, left and right)
